It never ceases to amaze me how boat donation charity can actually convince people to part with their boats as this is something really big and expensive! I always thought they will have a hard time convincing people to donate one as there are a limited number of boats to donate and certainly fewer persons who has one. I guess that proves me wrong as boatangel,org has actually succeeded in this and this is proven by the testimonials they have. I believe that their donate a boat program can really make a difference in this big world. They made use of old but still functional ones so it does not go to waste. If I had one, I would be even willing to donate my boat to this group as I know they will use it to help others which I am not able to do myself.

Boat donations is something that I think only rich people or corporations can do as they are the only ones who have the resources to donate one. But I guess it is possible for some people also as I know already of a few people who though not exactly rich does own boats and just want to help out. After hearing about this project called donate a boat which is actually a real good way to make use of those old yet still working boats, which will be a waste to just junk or store in docks and shipyards.. I guess if I had one myself which I am not using, I would certainly donate my boat if this would spell the difference of saving lives of others in return. I was asked the other day to donate a boat to those boat donation charity by my father. I did not understand his purpose and although he was actually quite rich, I did not understand why in the first place he would do such a thing so I asked him and was amazed at his answer. I discovered that my dad is real humanitarian person and he had actually gone to see Africa last year with his colleagues and was saddened by what he saw back then. He went back here thinking what he could do and remembered all about the boat donations site in boatangel.com and he decided to donate one of our boats, the one which I had since I was not interested in it anyway. But that was fine with me as long as I knew for what good purpose ir served to donate that boat.
