Madison County Rotary

Russia is really a unique country is I may say so. I got to see it if full when we went there last year through the adventure holidays and boy was that one memorable vacation. Included in our tour back then was my grandpa who was 77 years old and a war veteran and when we took him to the kubinka, the largest and oldest museum of armed vehicles in the world, his eyes actually lit up as he said this brought back memories of the war he participated when he was just a teen. He actually told us so many stories while on the trip we could imagine ourselves in those times also. After that museum, we proceeded to the cosmonaut museum where the younger ones were able to ride and try those space simulators which were real fun and so mesmerizing that we would have wanted to repeat it again had it not cost so much to do so. Truly Russia has so many things that tourists can enjoy and it’s a wonder why this is not so well known as a tourist spot. But I guess I am one lucky soul to have seen and experienced Russia fully.
